The Hunt for Santa Contest!

 There are rumors of a jolly old man named xsanta. Rumor has it that if you find him he will give you a present. So, without further ado here is what you have to do to find him.

First, I will post when he is on and in what towne. Go Here to see when santa is on.

Second, go in game to that towne and start looking by the Christmas Tree he will always be by the Christmas Tree...

That is pretty much all...also, please dont be greedy and ask for more presents...

So get ready find that xsanta!

• Banned players can no longer change their account information

 This is definitely a huge update! So much stuff to do its gunna take a while to explore everything!

New Quests!

There are new quests that were recently released...You have to go to Alien Oasis:3 Level 2, then you go to where King Mynas spawns and a NPC will spawn there randomly also...(NOTE:He spawns randomly like King Mynas he is not automatically there.)..Here are some screenshots of the Cyber Helmet and Cyber Plate that you can receive after finishing 2 of the new quests! Android Costume Haiku Contest!

By now, you may have read about or even seen the elusive Droid in Pocket Legends. He's been making appearances all over Alterra, and those who wave to him have received a pair of green antennas.

Now, our close friends and fans right here on the forums will have a chance to celebrate the Android Market launch of Pocket Legends with us by winning a highly exclusive Droid costume! This is your chance to win one of TWO Droid costumes. Very few of these costumes will ever exist in game.

How Do I Enter To Win?
Post a reply to this thread right here on our forums with your best/funniest/most creative haiku that includes the words: "Pocket Legends" and "Droid". That's it!

Not sure what a "haiku" is? It's a type of Japanese poem. You can read more about them here.

How Long Will The Contest Last?
You may post your haiku right away as a reply to this thread. The thread will be locked on Tuesday, November 30th at 3:00 PM Central Time. No further entries will be accepted after that time.

What Kind Of Haiku Will Win?
All haikus posted to this thread will be judged by the staff at Spacetime Studios after the end of the contest on Tuesday. Generally, they will be judged on a number of overall criteria such as creativity and/or humor. So feel free to post any flavor of haiku, they will all be considered!

How Will I Know If I Won?
Winners will be contacted via message through their forum account on these message boards no later than 5 PM Central Time on Friday, December 3rd.

What Is The Reward For Winning?
Spacetime Studios will choose the top TWO haikus and grant one Droid costume to each of the two winners. The Droid costumes are permanent, not temporary.

*Please note, we will only accept one haiku entry per forum account (do not make multiple forum accounts to submit multiple entries). Multiple entries will not be accepted. Android Costume Contest!

Beginning this Friday, November 26th we are pleased to announce an exclusive forum contest for players to win not one, but TWO Android costumes! You'll have to check the forums this Friday for contest details. More to come soon.

Fan sites Android Central, Droid Gamers, and Phandroid have just closed their contests for the Android costumes. Winners will be granted their costumes this week.

First of all i want to say sorry for not posting for a while...Anywho ill try and update you on everything thats happened!


Major Updates:

• Consignment Shoppe: List and purchase the items you really want. Shop smart.
• Magic Mirror: For the first time, you will be able to customize your face and head.
• Capture-the-Flag: Epic PvP with all new maps and rule-sets.
• Avatar Page Customizations: Show the world who you really are.
• Enhanced Storefront: All three stores have been made into one easy-to-use interface.

B-Side:


* Fixed some graphical issues with the Ursan Warrior's face and neck.
* There are three (3) auction NPCs you can talk to in Balefort Castle - so, no waiting to list items!
* Players can no longer "rush" major boss monsters. Bosses (Level 35 and up) will not spawn until a significant number of their underlings have been defeated.
* Both 'Points Scored' and 'Kills' appear on the Capture-the-Flag end game screen.
* Fixed a type-o in Ryom's "Yeti Pelt" quest.
* You can purchase bundles of Auction Slots and SAVE! Look for the 5 and 10 slot bundles in the in-game store (under 'Features').
* Loot item drop rates for lower-level monsters in the "Trials of the Galactic Overlord" campaign series have been increased.
* You can now Quick Join a campaign Story-Mode dungeon, a PVP Arena, or a Capture-the-Flag Arena from the Main Menu!
* Added some information to the Log In screen that appears when the device cannot find an Internet connection.
* Revised instructions for the Delete Character function - better explaining that the user must type 'DELETE' to remove the character from the list.
* The far right column of skill buttons should no longer intercept taps when there is no skill mapped to that slot.
* Threw in a couple more Capture-the-Flag maps to the CTF bundle!
* You can no longer purchase a 'bundle' if you own a portion of that bundle.
* Fixed some graphical issues with the stone walls that surround Fort Blackstone.
* Also fixed some visual problems with the terrain in the "Lost Expedition" base camp towne.
* There is now a "CTF Sign-Up" character on the road leading out of Forest Haven. Talk to him to purchase the CTF map pack or to quick-join a match!
* The in-game tutorial "Help" pages are now 'off' by default.
* There is now a 'Stash' available in Fort Blackstone - conveniently located within the new Consignment Shoppe!
* A number of effect particles have been optimized to improve game performance.
* You will no longer see a 'Join' button on the Friends' page when your friend is in a dungeon that you cannot join.
* There is now an 'Account Details' page which shows your account status and a history of Platinum purchases. Trial Accounts can be upgraded from this page directly (and non-verified users can start the verification process from this interface as well).
* Next time you create a character (or rename an existing one) try our 'Random Name Generator!'
* You cannot list items for less than the listing fee! If you try to do this you will see a warning message.
* Magic portals should now take you someplace else, even if you have a quest that is associated with the zone you are already in.
* Ozz now has a collection of premium armor and weapon items for sale (for Platinum) in addition to his normal stock!
* Vendors in Dark Forest (Marlon and Jackson) now sell premium items for Platinum in addition to their normal stock.

Android Closed Beta for Pocket Legends!

Spacetime Studios is excited to announce the closed beta of the Android client for Pocket Legends. We are looking for a pool of about 50 testers to help us test the Android client before it is released near the end of this year. We will be looking for a wide variety of devices and configurations. Testers will be responsible for identifying and reporting issues to the development team.

The initial phase of beta will be limited to existing Pocket Legends players and forum users that have purchased Platinum. We want people already familiar with the game to be able to compare functionality with their existing iDevice.

If you meet the criteria and wish to help, please email support(at)spacetimestudios.com with the subject line [Android Beta] and the following information:

1) Name
2) Email address (which must match your Pocket Legends account email address)
3) What is your character name, and how long have you been playing Pocket Legends?
4) Forum name (so we can give access to protected forums)
5) Primary Apple Device Model (iPad, iPhone, iPod touch)
6) Android Device Model, OS Version, Device Id (the Android client will be locked to your device)
7) A little background information about yourself and why you think you'll be able to help us.

Testers will be notified via email of acceptance and further instructions.

Halloween Screenshot Contest!

The Contest is now over! The judges will soon be picking the top screenshots! There was many good screenshots so it might take a while.

Version 1.5 has been submitted to Apple!

New Features

• Added the Consignment Shop which allows sellers to list items for sale at a set price and allows buyers to search for the items they are looking for.
• Collapsed all 3 in-game stores on one enhanced storefront! It's easier than ever to browse and purchase items!
• Added Capture the Flag PvP game type! Two teams, two goals, and mayhem!
• You can now preview your attribute point spending before you commit to the changes. With this new feature, you can add or subtract from each attribute much more easily and see how each point affects your other stats without actually making any changes to your character. When you're done redistributing points, you can then submit the changes right from that menu.
• You can now save your favorite attribute point distributions. On the Redistribute Attributes screen, there is now a button that you can click on which will display 4 slots with which you can name and save the point distribution.
• Added Magic Mirror which allows you to customize your head!
• Added avatar page customizations! You can now change the look of your avatar page (and inspect page). Show/hide various stats! Customize it with different background, colors, layouts, etc.
• When you inspect another player, you can now view a summary of their completed quests.
• When you look at your avatar page, you can now view a summary of your completed quests.
• Tap to move and virtual joystick may now both be enabled independently.
• Added an indicator when you cannot gain xp either due to disabling in character options or being too high level for your current dungeon.
• If booted from an instance, you should now return to the last Towne you were in.

Bug Fixes

• Offscreen player indicators should be scaled appropriately on iphone4
• Worked around an iOS 4.1 problem with in-app purchases sometimes failing to connect to the iTunes store

It usually takes about a week for Apple to approve the version so be ready for 1.5 its going to be awesome!
